A Bio - Briefly

This is my first attempt at blogging, and I have to say I've been so impressed with the blogs I've been reading - I was inspired! So, I started the day with a web tour of the Turks & Caicos (followed by Fiji). Being a restless soul, it seems I always want to be somewhere ELSE. My passion is travel writing, in particular, the unusual and undiscovered - which is increasingly more difficult to pinpoint.

So, a little about me...I'm 38; the mother of four sons - 16, 15, 12 and 10. (All of them extraordinarily handsome, intelligent, and funny!) I've been married for eighteen years to my high school sweetheart, Mark and in addition to our children, we have four dogs (two golden retrievers, an english shepherd, and a shih tzu) and one Dutch lop rabbit. Life is full, indeed!

I'm a published writer with 5 dozen or so articles ranging in content from entertainment, travel, and health to business-related news and parenting. In addition to building my portfolio of assignments, I write full-time for a healthcare company based in Montana. My professional work has run the gamut from straight PR to proposals, grantwriting, and marketing materials. So, "Live to Write" seemed an appropriate Blog Title. It's what I do, and I can't imagine not writing.

I hope to create a journal of sorts...a place to log my thoughts, share my dreams, gain inspiration and hopefully initiate a dialogue with fellow bloggers.
